  President's Message

The Organization

The Democratic Youngsters Foundation (DYF) was established on 17th July 1999 (with the maiden name Democratic Youngsters Club). On 27th October 2006, it was registered by the Registrar-General as Democratic Youngsters Foundation (DYF) under the Company Code 1963 (Act 179) of the Republic of Ghana. The DYF has since been registered as an NGO with the Department of Social Welfare of the Ministry of Employment and Social Welfare (Reg. No. DSW/3528).

Vision of DYF

The DYF envisions being a leading community-based non-governmental organization in providing the necessary structures and opportunities for the total development and empowerment of the youth, particularly girls, within the communities as foundation to the identification and building of their potential skills and talents as basis for the overall national growth, development and advancement efforts.

Mission of DYF

The DYF strives to mobilize the necessary funding and logistics to support planned programmes, organize appropriate training programmes for the empowerment of the youth, create the much-needed awareness and education for community development and empowerment, lead in the crusade for the eradication of malaria, filth and other insanitary conditions from identified communities, and help in the national campaign to contain the HIV/AIDS pandemic.

Goal of DYF
